Always vote for principle...and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost. John Quincy Adams
Conservative Libertarian not "Liberal"-tarian
I am a fiscal conservative with Libertarian social ideals.
First and foremost, I believe in the people of Indiana. If given the truth, they will make the right decisions. I also believe the best solution is always found in the middle of the extremes.
When it comes to government:
I oppose excessive governmental control, excess bureaucracy and high taxes, and favor a free-market economy. I believe government can be very useful in protecting its citizens. But it has a habit of moving from a regulatory capacity to full industry control.
I think individuals should be free to do whatever they wish with their person or property, as long as they don't infringe on the liberty of others.
